This event was organized the day after donations were presented to the AFIRI Center, which supports women and girls who are victims of violence.

Chaired by the Minister Delegate in charge of Cooperation with the Commonwealth, H.E. Felix Mbayu, the opening ceremony also featured keynote addresses by the Director of IRIC, the President of the Dynamics of Women in Cameroonian Diplomacy (DYFEDCAM), and the Representative of the United Nations System Coordinator to Cameroon.

During the discussion, the panel consisted of the following personalities:

- Mrs. Cécile MBALLA EYENGA, former Secretary-General at MINREX;

- Mrs. Marie Chantal MFOULA, former Commissioner at ECCAS in charge of Infrastructure Development;

- Mrs. Constance OWONA, President of the women’s network of the Cocoa Sector;

- Dr. Rose ENANG, National President of Sumediang and Chairperson of BAGCCULL Cameroon;
