CAMEROON - UNITED NATIONS

On Tuesday 21 April 21 2026, the Secretary General of the Ministry of External Relations, Mr. CHINMOUN OUMAROU, convened a meeting with the Deputy Executive Coordinator of the United Nations Volunteers (UNV) program, Ms. CHAMBERLAIN ANNA HELENA LOUISE. For the occasion, the distinguished guest was accompanied by the UNV Regional Director for West and Central Africa, our compatriot, Mr. Paul Armand MENYE, and the UNDP Resident Representative in Yaounde, Mr. Mathieu Ciowela.

The two parties took this opportunity to review cooperation between Cameroon and the United Nations in promoting national and international volunteering. They also exchanged views on lessons learned from the implementation of the National Volunteer Program in Cameroon, while exploring new avenues for strengthening cooperation in this area.
