CAMEROON - AFRICAN UNION

On Tuesday 14 April 2026, the Minister of External Relations, H.E. MBELLA MBELLA, granted an audience to the Vice-Chair of the Economic, Social, and Cultural Council (ECOSOCC) at the African Union, Mr. MAHAMAT HAROUN ADOUM.

The meeting was held as part of a working visit by an ECOSOCC delegation to Cameroon from 10 to 15 April 2026.

Discussions between the Minister and his guest focused on Cameroon’s efforts to promote food security, and cooperation with ECOSOCC in this area.

The two parties also discussed the benefits of Cameroon’s more active participation in the Pan-African Network for the Fight Against Food and Environmental Insecurity (RPLIAE).
